🎄 𝐀 𝐅𝐞𝐬𝐭𝐢𝐯𝐞 𝐑𝐨𝐮𝐧𝐝-𝐔𝐩 𝐟𝐫𝐨𝐦 𝐓𝐲 𝐌𝐨𝐫𝐠𝐚𝐧𝐬 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐂𝐫𝐨𝐞𝐬𝐨 𝐆𝐫𝐰𝐩

Over the past few days, Ty Morgans and Croeso Grŵp have once again placed community at the centre of our Christmas celebrations, continuing traditions that have become a meaningful part of the festive season in Rhayader.

 

🎅𝐑𝐞𝐜𝐨𝐫𝐝 𝐁𝐫𝐞𝐚𝐤𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐂𝐫𝐨𝐞𝐬𝐨 𝐂𝐡𝐫𝐢𝐬𝐭𝐦𝐚𝐬 𝐃𝐢𝐧𝐧𝐞𝐫𝐬 𝐟𝐨𝐫 𝐎𝐯𝐞𝐫 𝟔𝟓𝐬

Once again, we delivered free Christmas dinners to nominated residents aged over 65 across Rhayader.This year marked a significant milestone, with a record 110 meals prepared and delivered, the highest number to date.

Diolch Castell Howell for the donation of 2 Turkeys again this year towards these meals. It is very much appreciated.

 

A huge thank you to Craig, our Head Chef at Ty Morgans, for preparing every meal, and to our fantastic team who helped deliver them. The initiative remains a key part of Croeso Grŵp’s commitment to supporting older members of the community during the festive period.

Meanwhile, the Ty Morgan’s Wishing Tree returned this year and saw almost double the number of entries compared to last year. Children were invited to write a Christmas wish and hang it on the tree. From these entries, four wishes were selected at random and made a reality, with four children receiving the gift they had wished for.

 

As Christmas approaches, we’re extremely proud at the Croeso Grŵp to stand at the heart of the community and would like to thank everyone who has supported us this year.
